Features
Customers choose a board, set the size and see it drawn before they pay a deposit. You get the full spec and a 3D file customized to your customer's dimensions for every order.
For your customers
The customer side carries your models, prices and logo.
Seven questions about the surfer and the waves rank your models and recommend a size by volume. Answers are saved to the customer's account.
Pick a model, set the size (stock, custom or sized for them), choose finish and fins, and watch the board redraw.
Each model has its own page with images, specs and stock sizes.
Every design gets its own URL with deck, bottom and side views and a 6-inch dimension grid. The customer approves a drawing before paying.
Customers sign up with Google or email at the deposit step and come back to see their design and order status.
Customers get an email when they pay the deposit and when the status of their order changes.
For your shop
The shaper side is one order screen.
Your starter .s3dx for the model is customized to the length, width and thickness your customer specified. Download it from the order screen and open it in Shape3d.
Size, volume, finish, rail color, fin system and the customer's notes arrive together, so there is no second email to fill in what was missing.
Approve or flag the dimensions, set the status the customer sees, keep notes and mark the balance paid.
Stripe Checkout takes the deposit on its own hosted page, so card details never touch your site. The balance is paid to you directly.
You get a message for each new order.
Base price, per-foot charge, finish options, deposit percentage, lead time and refund rule are settings.
Works with your site
Board Builder runs inside your WordPress site, so it looks like the rest of the site and works with the tools you already use.
Fonts, text size and text color come from your theme. The accent color comes from your Elementor global colors or your block theme's color presets. Dark sites are supported.
Models are a WordPress post type with Elementor dynamic tags and a ready-made card template for Elementor Pro Loop Grids, so the boards page is built and styled in Elementor.
The board builder, the board selector and the model cards are shortcodes. They go into the block editor or any page builder that accepts shortcodes.
Each model has its own page and the boards archive has its own URL. Your theme's templates or Elementor Pro templates control the layout, and a default is included.
Customers sign in with a normal WordPress account to see their design and order status.
Deposits are taken with Stripe Checkout on your Stripe account. Card details stay on Stripe's hosted page and never touch your site.
A Shopify version of Board Builder is coming soon.
WordPress 6.4 or newer and PHP 8.0 or newer.

All three are live on this site. The boards are fictional examples.
